Darrick Gets His Lungs!

Most recent update – celebrating successes!

Great news! Darrick Drewry is 7 weeks out from his lung transplant, and he went and watched the Sounders win the MLS Cup here in Seattle on November 10, 2019. This is a victory all on its own for him. It was cold and windy, which previously would have made him cough and cough with no end in sight. He also wouldn’t have been able to walk clear up to the top of that stadium before. But now, since his lung transplant, he conquers these things! We are so thankful!

And he’s out!! Two weeks out from double lung transplant surgery and Darrick is walking out of the hospital!
He will be staying at an apartment a few minutes from the hospital for the next month.
